Esther Ruth Mensinger, 82 of Fort Smith has gone to be with our Lord Saturday, September 27, 2014 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and loved to garden and cook. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin Mensinger; one daughter, Ruth Snow; one son, Kevin Martin; her parents, Jessie Sr. & Mittie (Wainwright) Hilton; one sister, Francis Mishoe and one brother, M.J. Hilton.

Funeral service will be 2 PM Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at U.S. National Cemetery at a later date under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by her husband, George Spilger of Fort Smith; two daughters, Gayle Greb of Fort Smith, Carla Carlile and husband, Johnny of Van Buren; a brother, Jessie Hilton of Williamsburg, VA; Nine grandchildren, Casey Glidewell, Jonnie Martin, Marisa Reeves, Cory Cox, Elizabeth Perry, Dustin Snow, Johnny Carlile, Carl Carlile, Josh Greb; Twenty one great grandchildren, Alexis Masterson, Shannon Cox, Teralyn Cox, Emilee Perry, Kaitlyn Reeves, Tara Blackshear, February Carlile, Elizabeth Carlile, Anna Carlile, Desiree Snow, Tony, Travis and Trevor Blackshear, Trae Samson, Jakob Cox, Brady Mackey, Caleb Opry, Seth Glidewell, Zach Glidewell, Anthony Cox and Jacob Reeves; a great great grandbaby that has yet to enter the world.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, September 30, 2014 one hour prior to service.
