Obituary for Laura Mae Key (Watkins)

Laura Mae  Key (Watkins)
Laura Mae Key, 68, of Van Buren, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 26, 2014 in a local hospital. She was born August 2, 1946 in Mulberry, Arkansas . She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Mae Watkins; a sister, Melba Deaton; two brothers, Loren Watkins and her twin Tommy Watkins.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with Reverend Justin Allen officiating with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Laura is survived by her husband, Lonnie Key of 46 years; one daughter, Tami Streeter and husband, Eugene of Beaumont, Texas; one sister, Betty Madison of Fort Smith two brothers, Donald Watkins and wife , Ann of Mountainburg, and Edward Watkins of Muskogee , Oklahoma; She is also survived by two grandchildren, Kaleigh Goebel and husband, Kyle of Fort Smith and Christopher Streeter of Fort Smith; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Stanley Key, Johnny Key, Tommy Key, Wesley Watkins, Greg Madison and Kyle Goebel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Deaton, Randy Deaton, Reginald Deaton, Roger Key, Roger Key, Jr., Alan Madison and Donny Moore

The Family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to Peachtree Hospice % Mercy Hospital, 7301 Rogers Avenue, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72917.
