Obituary for Johnny Cole Brinegar

Johnny Cole  Brinegar
Johnny Brinegar, 53 of Van Buren passed away Monday, September 15, 2014 in a local hospital. He was a boiler operator for Tate & Lyle in Van Buren; a 1979 graduate of Van Buren High School; a lifelong resident of Crawford County; he enjoyed watching football and playing with his granddaughter, Stella. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Juanita Fay (Kahler) Brinegar.

Funeral service will be at 2 P.M. Friday, September 19, 2014 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Clara (Moore) Brinegar of the home; one son, Jason Medlock and daughter-in-law, Amanda of Bentonville; one sister, Patricia Brinegar of Houston, TX; one brother, Walter Brinegar of Van Buren; one granddaughter, Stella Medlock.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 5-7 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Robert Meeks, Brian, Nathan, Ricky, Vance and Blake Wilson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his co-workers at Tate & Lyle
