Obituary for Janice Sue Loftin (Pigg)

Janice Sue  Loftin (Pigg)
Janice Sue Loftin, 79 of Van Buren passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 in her home. She was a retired real estate salesperson for Jim White Reality, a member of the Rena Road Baptist Church in Van Buren and a member of a pioneer Crawford County Family. She was the Rodeo Sweetheart & out of town Rodeo Queen in 1951 & the Arkansas Oklahoma Rodeo Queen in 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents Atha & Sue (Hays) Pigg, and one sister Diane Evans.
Memorial service will be 10 AM Monday, September 15, 2014 at Rena Road Baptist Church in Van Buren officiated by Reverend Steve Matthews & Reverend Dan Fisher with burial at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith at a later date under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by her husband John Dib Loftin of the home; one daughter Pam Fisher and her husband Dan of Yukon, OK; two sons Johnny Loftin and his wife Shirley of Van Buren and Dr. Kelly Loftin and his wife Mary of Chester; one brother Atha Lamar of Van Buren; six grandchildren Carrie Gordon, Rachel Loftin, Sean Loftin, Jake Fisher, Rebekah Wise, Alex Loftin; five great-grandchildren Sharee McCawley, David McCawley, Wade McCawley, Star Kittler, Rhys Fisher.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Donald Reynolds Cancer Support House 3324 South “M” Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901
