Jerry Allen  Fears
Jerry Allen Fears, 76 of Van Buren passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 in Tyler, Texas. He was a retired production foreman for Rheem Manufacturing and a member and Deacon of Van Buren First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence & Opal (Summerhill) Fears; two brothers Wilburn Fears and Reverend Larry Fears and a son Sean Alex in 1969.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Macedonia Cemetery near Uniontown under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife Mary of the home; one son Duaine Fears and his wife Shar of Fort Smith; two granddaughters Deidre and Danita Fears both of Van Buren; one sister Lois Barlow of Fort Smith.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Friday, August 8, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Bill Kennedy, David Linton, Bill Sammons, Bill Daunis, Quinton Waldo, Din Tong.

Honorary Pallbearers will be First Baptist Church Deacons & nephews Phillip, Sam & Mark Fears, Wallace Barlow, Shaun Fuchs, Chester Alexander & Scott Sigmon
