Condolence: What can I say about JR that hasn't been said. I, like Troy, was lucky to be stationed with JR at two different bases. He was a someone that I could talk to about anything and it always seemed he knew exactly what to say. We were lucky enough to keep in contact even after he got out. One of the best phone I received from him was on the day of my retirement, we laughed, told lies and he made me cry, but then again that was JR. I'm proud to call him my brother and friend. I'll miss you ole paint, until we meet again.

Condolence: 27 years ago I walked on to Blytheville AFB and met JR, within a week he had taken me around the base and out to lunch. On alert he mentored all of us younger guys, in the good and bad ways :) I followed him around the AF for 2 assignments, he made the Air Force a special place and left a lasting impact on all of us, he will always be remembered! To his family, I am sorry for your loss, but want you to know what a great impact he had on so many people.
