Richard Wayne Klitz, 74 of Barling passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in a local hospital. He was retired from Rheem as a parts expediter. He was a member of a bowling league at Midland Family Bowl in Fort Smith, a member of Old Fort Gun Club in Fort Smith and a member of the National Rifle Association; He was a longtime resident of the area. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna (Rainwater) Klitz, both parents, Reynolds & Opal (Richardson) Klitz; one sister, Phyllis Nichols.

Arrangement & cremation under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren, Arkansas no formal service will be held at this time.

He is survived by one daughter, Kayla Elloso and husband, Raymond of Grafton, MA; one son, Rick Klitz and wife Tricia of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Collin Klitz, Kristen Vines, Andrew, Matthew & Jacob Elloso all of Grafton, MA.
