Condolence: Aaron & Paige, I am so sorry for your lost. I am praying for you and the family. The memory I have of your Dad is like a lot of folks, at Rhodes Chevrolet. As a kid when my Dad and I would take our car down for service he was always friendly, knew people on a personal level, and he always talked to me, even as a kid, like I was important...not just a customer but a friend. Praying for you both!

Condolence: Dad was a hard worker. My best memories of him and the times we bonded most were when we were doing jobs together: fencing our land, buldkng various stuff, hauling trash to the dump, riding together to Rhodes Chevrolet....

I also have dad to thank for music that is core to me: Eumir Deadato, Steely Dan, Vince Guaraldi, Dave Brubeck, Harry Chapin, Chicago...

Had the priveledge of spending time with him more over the last few months. A couple of weeks ago I checked him into Peachtree Hospice. We just hung out together. We exchanged "I love you's" and, as I was leaving, I looked at him and said goodbye....he winked, as clear and lucid as I've ever seen him....I knew it was going to be okay.

Condolence: Lots and lots of memories of the "way over" 20 years we worked together at Rhodes. Jokes we played on co-workers are flooding back. The many times he popped in to visit since he retired, for the second time, will be missed very much. Precious in the sight of the LORD are the death of His saints.

Condolence: The many, many pets who have gone before him through all of these years have now been reunited! There is so much comfort in knowing that his health has been restored and that he truly is at peace.

Condolence: Larry's at peace now, and back to his old self. I'm sure he'll eventually locate Dave Brubek and get Dave to play "Take Five".
