Obituary for Mary Etta "Geah" Ferguson

Mary  Etta "Geah"  Ferguson
Mary (Geah) Ferguson, 77 of Van Buren went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 6, 2014. She was retired from the Fort Smith Health Dept; worked part time for over twenty years at Harborview/Vista Health in Fort Smith. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, traveling and working in her yard. She was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Ocie (Estep) Winders; two brothers, Donald Lee Winders and Alivn Nuel Winders.

Funeral service will be 10 AM Thursday, July 10, 2014 at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fort Smith with burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by one daughter, Connie Beyerle and husband, Greg of Van Buren; one son, Barry Ferguson and wife, Shannon of Van Buren; four sisters, Minnie Smith of Magazine, Margaret Hoening of New Weston, OH, Mae Pusch and Joyce Jenkins both of Van Buren; three grandchildren, Carrie Kilgore and husband, Billy of Barling, Sam Beyerle and wife, Ashley of Van Buren, Chris Ferguson of Van Buren.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Tom Hoening, Jerry Parsons, Jim Jenkins, Frank Hoening, Tim Hoening, and Ben Pusch.

Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
