John Eugene Putnam, 71, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 in a local hospital. He was a retired mechanic for Planters and a U. S. Air Force Veteran. He was born June 6, 1942 in Fort Smith, AR to the late Eugene and Anna (Carter) Putnam.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Putnam of the home; one daughter, Stacey Haneline and husband Bill of Fort Smith, AR; one step daughter Staci Baker and husband Randy of Mulberry, AR; one step son, Mark Robinson of Fort Smith and 5 Grandchildren, Haven Haneline, B. J. Haneline, Ty Haneline, Jordan Baker and Lauren Baker.

A family held memorial service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Beyond Church, 4510 Hwy. 71 North, Alma, AR. Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
