Jessie B. Harrison, 76 of Van Buren passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 in a local hospital. He served in the United States Army from 1959-1965 and was a huge Razorback Fan for over 50 years. He was a Quality Control Whirlpool Supervisor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two Sisters Susan Harrison & Carolyn Horton and also one brother Roger Harrison.
Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at U.S. National Cemetery with military honors in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife Gloria of the home; two daughters Michelle Burgess of Spiro and Teresa Quillman and her husband Larry of Greenwood; one son Bill Ward of Van Buren; two sisters Bonnie Lilly and her husband Stewart of Marion, VA and Dorothy Callaway and her husband Frank of Winston Salem, NC; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren
Pallbearers will be Steve Brandenburg, Raymond Roth, Phil Hicks, Chris Waters, Sam McGrew, Ross Robinson
