Ronald LeRoy Hardin, 65, of Van Buren passed away at his home Saturday, April 12, 2014. He was a retired farmer and mechanic. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Billy Jo and one brother, Richard.

The family will visit with friends and relatives Monday April 14, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.

Survivors are his wife, Carolyn of the home; four daughters, Betty Jo Volpe of Jamestown Ark, Rhonda Hardin and Leigh Ann Hardin, both of Atwater, Calif, Christa O’Daniel of North Carolina; five sons, Ronald Hardin, Jr of Jamestown, New York, Roger Hardin, SR of Van Buren , John Hardin of MO, Ronald G. Hardin of Atwater, Calif and Robert Hardin of the home; seven sisters, three brothers; two stepsons, Steven Stills of Cedarville and James Bentley, Jr of Van Buren; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
