John William (Bill) Lee, 81 of Van Buren passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 in his home. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Mason Lodge #6, VFW/DAV, Eastern Star #86 and Retired Military Association. He was a avid Amateur Radio Operator. He was preceded in by his parents, Foster & Mildred (Cline) Lee; one grandson, Jeremiah Dial.

He is survived by his wife, Liane Lee of the home; two daughters, Mildred Fischer and husband, Charles of Grove, OK, Petra Earhart of Okmulgee, OK; two sons, John Lee, Jr. and Karl Lee and wife, Tasha all of Van Buren; Eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date with military honors under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
