Dorothy Evelyn Kendrick, 80, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God Seventh Day in Fort Smith. She was born September 7, 1933 in Alma, AR to the late George L. and Delsie (Lewis) Haight and the widow of Thorel H. Langston and Bill Kendrick.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 4, 2014 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Bolton Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Henry of Mountainburg, AR, Freda Hale of Jenks, OK and Flora Blasingame of Alma, AR; three sons, Ralph Langston of Lawton, OK, Marcus Langston of Fort Smith, AR and Thorel Langston, Jr. of Alma, AR; 15 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Zane and Jared Hale, Noah, Levi and Joshua Henry and Josh Lindsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Herman Yakley, Herman Yakley, Jr., Clarence and Justin Becker, David Springer and Roger McFeeters.
