Charles Ray Dillard, Sr., 80, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 in a local hospital. He was a retired U. S. Postal employee having worked 30 years and a member of the New Heights Baptist Church in Alma, AR. He was born September 24, 1933 in Jenny Lind to the late Clifford and Eiethel (Wilson) Dillard. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lenora Martin and a Great Grandson, Garrett Haney.
Services will be 10:00 A. M. Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Dyer Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Wednesday evening, March 26, 2014 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Dillard of the home; one son, Charles Ray Dillard, Jr. and his wife Rita Jo of Pocola, OK; three brothers, Homer Dillard and wife Sylvia of Fort Smith, AR, W.A. Dillard and wife Laura of Benton, AR and David Dillard and wife Jonnie Faye of Little Rock, AR; Grandchildren, Brent Haney, Tommy and Sarah Haney, Jarrett Dillard, Cody Keller, Seth and Jordan Keller; Great Grandchildren, Breeanna Haney and Cameron and Ezra Keller.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Haney, Seth Keller, Cody Keller, Donnie Dillard, Dennis Dillard and Travis Garrett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Fort Smith League Bowlers.
